The artist

Jep Thomas was born in Belle-Ile en Mer (France) in 1965. He lives today in Sydney, Australia.

Three islands, a large gap. And can be sensed in his face in his colors in the subjects of his sculptures, both the hardness of Britain and Japan's appeal. The cold winter days that celebrate the colors and makes them hot, the simplicity of the sea, the fragility of a church or a fishing village, the nobility of character, the rigor of a portrait.

Is this still the Britain or Japan already ? The sweetness hidden in the hardness of a haiku, the permanence of the materials that the artist live again, eternal nature in the objects of men.

After Australia and japan, his works are exhibited in france, where it is discovered again surprising.
